- Multiple women accused singer Marilyn Manson of physical and sexual assault, prompting authorities to examine his house.
On Monday, authorities searched the home of rocker Marilyn Manson after numerous women accused him of physical and sexual abuse.
According to Deputy Eva Jimenez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was served on Manson’s residence. Manson’s legal name is Brian Hugh Warner. She refused to provide any other information.
In February, the sheriff’s department announced that investigators had started looking into Manson after receiving accusations of domestic violence in West Hollywood, where he lived at the time.

Several women have publicly claimed this year that they were physically, sexually, and emotionally assaulted by Manson around the time of the episodes under investigation, and several have filed lawsuits.
Howard E. King, Manson’s lawyer, declined to comment right away. The charges have been refuted by Manson, who has called them “provably false” by King.
TMZ was the first to report about the search of Manson’s residence.
In an Instagram post in February, the 52-year-old shock rocker’s former girlfriend, “Westworld” actor Evan Rachel Wood, acknowledged him as her abuser for the first time.
Manson described wood’s words as “horrible distortions of reality.”
In May, actress Esme Bianco of “Game of Thrones” filed a federal lawsuit against Marilyn Manson, alleging sexual, physical, and emotional assault. According to Bianco, Manson allegedly broke human trafficking laws by transporting Bianco to California from England for non-existent roles in music videos and movies.
According to the lawsuit, Manson deprived Bianco of food and sleep, confined her in a room, lashed her, gave her electric shocks, and threatened to break into her room and rape her in the middle of the night.
Bianco’s lawyer stated that she was also questioned by law enforcement.
In her case, Manson’s former assistant claimed that he exploited “his position of power, popularity, and connections to exploit and victimize during her employment,” alleging sexual assault, battery, and harassment.
In the mid-1990s, Manson became a musical sensation, known as much for seeking public controversy as for smash songs like “The Beautiful People” and albums like “Antichrist Superstar” (1996) and “Mechanical Animals” (1998).
